Before and After- Kitchen in Annapolis

Above is the space before I got my hands on it! It was a 12 year old kitchen with all builder standard oak cabinets and laminate countertops. It was way overdue for a face lift! Because the client is a huge gourmet cook and hostess extroadinare, she needed a culinary dream kitchen. So we ripped out the wall between the kitchen and the dining room and made that one open space.

Below is the amazing transformation after teaming up with Kitchen Designer, Hedy Shashani from Jack Rosen Custom Kitchens in Rockville, MD....Anytime I work on kitchens and bathrooms, I team up with Hedy, because it's such a collaborative process with not only the design, but the final selections. We make a perfect team!

It is amazing what fresh flowers can do for a space! I absolutely adore the reclaimed wood and pots mixed with bright glass and flowers!

Although my favorite color tends to be beige….I absolutely adore the idea of adding pops! of color through accessories, or in this case, colored glass! This small arrangement of bottles and old letters is such a great idea!
